Would you like to submit an article or an illustration for consideration? Please read all information below before you fill our our submission form. Thank you!
We appreciate your desire to share your knowledge with our community. We welcome submissions from writers and artists of every level of experience. We are looking for editorial content that will inform, educate, enlighten, entertain, and inspire our readers. Please write about something that you feel passionate about. We will be happy to accept the following for consideration.
Articles ● Tidbits (small clips of information) Good Tidings Quotes In Business ● Lifestyles & Perspectives Nonprofit Organization Profiles Illustrations (photos of drawings, paintings, or other) Cover Art ● Original Comics!
What happens after you submit an article, tidbit, or illustration? All submissions are placed on file until an opening is available. When an opening becomes available, the unpublished article, tidbit, and/or illustrations on file are reviewed, and a decision is made (usually after deadline) about which articles and illustrations will be chosen to be published in the upcoming issue. This decision is based on many factors, including the general theme of the issue, surrounding content, available space, time of year, etc. Please note that we receive many submissions; if a submission is not accepted right away, it does not necessarily mean that it was rejected, as it may be accepted and published in a future issue. If an article is accepted some time after the original submission date, we will ask for your permission to publish it before moving forward. Full length article authors and cover art illustrators will be notified if/when their submissions are accepted, but will not be notified if they are not accepted. Authors and artists of accepted tidbits and illustration submissions (other than cover art) will not be notified when accepted. After a submission is accepted, Our BerkshireGreen reserves the right to make minor editorial changes without the author's approval. If more than minor changes are made, the edited piece will be sent to the author for final approval before being placed in the final layout. Illustrations may be adjusted and cropped as we feel necessary.
